Director of Warehouse Management Systems

We have been retained to assist our client with a Director of Distribution for an industry leader based out of Oklahoma City, OK. Reporting to the Vice President of IT, this position will be responsible for providing the leadership direction of the integration of two ERP systems, support the national distribution network, and own transportation management.
- Own and lead WMS deployments, including working with technical resources to integrate ERP systems and other automation platforms
- Develop and maintain outbound distribution network and negotiate carrier contracts
- Maintain and analyze logistics network and distribution center key metrics to improve departmental performance measures through the utilization of continuous improvement processes
- Formulate, recommend, and/or implement logistics policies and agreements that will guide the organization in maintaining and improving the company’s competitive position and the profitability of their operation
- Identify, recommend, and implement changes to improve productivity and quality while reducing cost and waste
- Manage resources to make real-time adjustments when needed and optimize equipment, facilities, employees, methods, and materials
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Supply Chain, or related field; Master’s degree preferred
- 7+ years of experience at a director level related warehouse management systems
- Deep ERP integration expertise
- Proven success in process optimization as it pertains to logistics and distribution
- Commensurate with Experience
