General Manager
We are currently assisting our client with a Director of Sales search near Naperville, IL. Reporting to the President, this position concentrates on maintaining business relationships, growing existing business, and developing new customers. The right candidate should be an impact player with a proven track record of accomplishments, understand the business implications of decisions, and display an orientation toward profitability.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales stratagems to grow customer base while maintaining strategic relationships with key account holders and target customers
- Act as primary Point of Contact between customers and internal departments (Quality, Production, etc.)
- Provide flexible guidance to adapt to constantly changing market environments
- Continuously increase market knowledge and provide necessary updates internally
- Gather external information on new products, competitors, challenges, and current product performance
- Create and maintain annually and running customer forecasts and provide timely reports to management
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree preferred, comparable experience considered
- 5 years of business development and sales experience in Industrial Manufacturing
- Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
- More than 50% travel
- $200,000 – $225,000
