Vice President of Sales

We are currently assisting our client, a global industry leader, with an AEROSPACE VP of Sales search. Reporting to the President, this position will be leading the sales and business development efforts to drive revenue growth for a large division. The right candidate should be an impact player with a proven track record of accomplishments, understand the business implications of decisions, and display an orientation toward profitability.
Responsibilities:
- Develop long-term sales strategy to meet division objectives and expand market presence
- Manage sales contracts and negotiations, renewals and expansions to current customers while growing strategic partnerships within the aerospace and commercial sectors
- Perform market research as necessary to identify business opportunities
- Lead the sales and business development teams, fostering a high-performance culture
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in sales or related field; Master’s degree preferred
- Knowledge of Sales, Marketing or Business Development within the AEROSPACE industry, globally
- 10+ years of experience leading a Sales team
- International travel as needed, up to 40%
Total Compensation:
- Commensurate with experience
