Richard Crew is a native of Northeast Ohio, growing up in North Royalton. He had the opportunity to travel the world at an early age with family located in Italy and abroad. Exposure to a variety of cultures fostered a strong sense of compassion and empathy which have made him a trusted advisor in search.
As a Managing Partner at Ciresi Morek, Richard has built a network across a multitude of industries and companies. He is well positioned to advise many different types of companies, from publicly traded, to privately held, to family-owned organizations. Richard has successfully partnered with companies such as Johnson Controls International, Mauser Packaging Solutions, Berkshire Hathaway, Koch Industries companies, and more.

Richard learned the manufacturing world from the ground up working closely with Engineers though quickly transitioned to Management and Executive-level search. Year-over-year, he has been a top-ranked member of the Ciresi Morek team in successful placements while also minimizing counter-offers and turn downs experienced by his customers. Richard’s expertise in guiding and developing new employees has significantly contributed to Ciresi Morek’s success, and has produced skilled and motivated top performers.
Richard attended St. Ignatius High School in Cleveland, Ohio. True to his competitive nature he was a member of the crew and wrestling programs as well as a founding member of the school’s nationally ranked rugby team. He then earned a Bachelor’s degree at the University of Dayton while playing rugby. Remembered for his tenacity, he was recruited to Ciresi Morek by CEO and former coach, Robert Ciresi, in 2013. Richard is an avid hiker, traveler, and still competes in local men’s club rugby, though at a much slower pace. He’s married to an art teacher and girls’ track coach. They love bringing their dog, Mable, on their many adventures.
