Director of Maintenance

Core Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related technical field
• Heavy manufacturing / industrial industry experience
• 15+ years of progressive Maintenance, Reliability, or Operations leadership experience

Preferred Requirements:

• Master’s degree or MBA
• CMRP, CRL, PMP, or Lean/Six Sigma certification

This position will serve as the senior Maintenance & Reliability leader for a complex, multi-site manufacturing operation, responsible for transforming the function from reactive maintenance to a proactive, data driven reliability model. This role requires someone equally comfortable setting long-term strategy with senior executives and spending time on the plant floor with technicians and supervisors. The leader will drive reliability strategy, asset management, maintenance programs, and team development while connecting reliability performance directly to safety, cost, and business results.

Responsibilities:

• Set the enterprise strategy and multi-year roadmap for Maintenance & Reliability transformation
• Partner with Operations and Engineering to align reliability priorities with production, safety, and cost goals
• Oversee the full asset lifecycle, including criticality analysis, risk assessment, and equipment strategy
• Lead preventive/predictive maintenance programs and disciplined work management practices
• Build reliability engineering and root cause analysis capability to eliminate recurring failures
• Lead, mentor, and develop maintenance managers, engineers, planners, and technicians
