Operations Manager

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, or other technical discipline
• 5+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience

Preferred Requirements:

• MBA degree
• Metals manufacturing experience
• Experience in melting, casting, or other highly engineered process environments

The successful Operations Manager will provide leadership for a complex manufacturing operation, ensuring world-class performance across safety, quality, delivery, and cost. This leader will oversee day-to-day operations while partnering closely with Engineering, Maintenance, Scheduling, and Supply Chain to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will bring a hands-on leadership style, strong analytical skills, and the ability to build high-performing teams in a fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead daily manufacturing operations with accountability for safety, quality, delivery performance, productivity, and cost objectives
• Develop and mentor supervisors and hourly personnel while fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement
• Drive operational performance through KPI management, process optimization, and problem-solving initiatives
• Partner with Engineering, Maintenance, Scheduling, Purchasing, and supporting functions to ensure uninterrupted operations and customer delivery commitments
• Manage resources, budgets, and production plans to maximize throughput and support long-term growth objectives
• Provide visible leadership across all shifts while responding effectively to operational issues and supporting a 24/7 manufacturing environment
