Senior Metallurgist

• Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related discipline
• 5+ years of metallurgical experience within a regulated manufacturing environment

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience with stainless steels, superalloys, or other specialty metals
• Knowledge of AS9100, Nadcap, or comparable quality and accreditation requirements

The successful Metallurgist will provide technical expertise across manufacturing, quality, and laboratory operations to ensure material integrity, process capability, and product conformance. This position will establish and maintain metallurgical controls for critical manufacturing and testing processes while serving as a technical resource for internal teams, suppliers, and customers.

Responsibilities:

• Establish metallurgical controls and testing parameters that ensure materials and manufacturing processes consistently meet technical requirements
• Investigate material, testing, and process-related issues to determine root causes and implement sustainable corrective actions
• Evaluate laboratory and process data to identify trends, validate capability, and uncover opportunities for manufacturing improvement
• Maintain technical documentation, testing requirements, certifications, and accreditation readiness for applicable processes
• Work alongside Engineering and Manufacturing teams to strengthen process controls and support new or evolving production requirements
